Located between the Tintenpalast and the Christurskirche. This garden was laid in 1932 and initially known as the Tintenpalast garden. It's a great place for a picnic basjet experience. I love the trees

Lots and lots of birds to see. This place, located some 20km West of your abode is known for its birdlife and many species have been recorded here. It's a beautiful game reserve too with both 4x4 and hiking trails. You can access it via the B1 road and by any vehicle. The distance means that like at Okapuka Ranch and the Hero's acre that are out of town, you will manage to drive here and get back home in time for the Covid-19 curfews.

In a mood for a movie or shopping? While 99% of all the places are within a safe walking distance, this mall is a bit far. You can however walk here when it's cool but I recommend you driving or hailing a cab. This is the nearest and only 1 of the 2 malls with a movie theatre for now. The alternative is the Grove Mall further South. Just like a beautiful mall, there's lots to see and biltong to be eaten at cost. A great place for children too

You will have to drive South and out of town to experience the resting place of those endowed with heroism in the country. The weather is not all grey because of the ones resting, it's actually beautiful and you can even grab something to eat.
