Indoor/outdoor geothermal public pool. The indoor pool was designed by state architect Guðjón Samúelsson (Hallgrímskirkja Church, University of Iceland, National Theater) and opened in 1937. The pool was recently expanded and now includes an outdoor pool as well.

Food scene
From 1978 to 2017, Hlemmur served as the city's main transportation hub—busses still stop there, but the building itself has undergone a renaissance and is now home to a food hall that offers all sorts of different delicious food. There's certainly something here for everyone.
You can get some of the best pizza in town at Flatey pizzera, excellent bread and sweet breads at Brauð & co. bakery (you should really try their snúður, it is delicious) and some A+ salted cod croquette balls at Kröst. And lots of other stuff.
