This great Thorley Taverns family pub and restaurant is in a fantastic location between Botany Bay and Kingsgate Bay, so it makes a good walk from Broadstairs. It is family friendly with kids menus and indoor play area as well as an outdoors playground. Cosy indoors and spacious terrace for sunny days. Reservation recommended at peak times.

The museum building was itself a model for a cottage in David Copperfield. Exhibits are well laid out and the staff are friendly.
