Transport
Public transport is phenomenal in London. Rush hours are best avoided, but you can get anywhere in the city at any time. A contactless credit card is all you need.
Google Maps works well, but CityMapper is a better option. Uber works well, but it's worth considering the alternatives: Kapten or Bolt.

Security
London is a safe city, but like with every mayor metropolis, there are a few things you need to pay attention to. The main issue that I'm aware of is petty theft, especially phone snatching from bicycles and scooters. It's still a rare occurance, but my advise is to not to walk/stand around with your phone out and be aware of your surroundings when you do.
