Public transportations are best to get around the city.
Parking in Montreal can be confusing, even for a born-Montrealer! Signs often prohibit parking on one side of a street, on certain days of the week, at different times. You need to look at the arrow’s direction and where it is pointing, as the pole delimits an area.
