Located in Amsterdam East is one of the taller buildings in Amsterdam. On the 11th floor you can find a really nice restaurant/bar where only locals go to enjoy the view. Affordable and with a beautiful roof terrace that is excellent to enjoy in the sun!

High end food in a traditional old Dutch primary school. Expensive but delicious. The real recommendation here is if you like to party, Berlin style. A 24 hour club filled with Techno. All in an old Dutch primary school with that atmosphere

There are a number of rent-a-bike shops around the apartment within walking distance. The fastest, easiest and most exciting way to see the city and experience it as a local!

Do some underground brewery tours instead of Heineken
There are a number of very interesting and cool local breweries to visit around Amsterdam. Contact me for some full details but here are a few to start off with: Oedipus (Amsterdam North, take a free ferry there!), Brewery 't Ij (located next to a old windmill), Troost (multiple locations with excellent bars and restaurants in the brewery!)
