The Vodno mountain is located in the southwest of Skopje. The highest point of the mountain is at Krstovar peak, on 1066 meters and the submontane is on 337 meters (Middle Vodno is on 557 m). On top of the peak, you can notice one of the biggest Christian Crosses in the world called the Millennium Cross. For those who enjoy hiking, there is a trail that leads to the peak and it's about an hour to reach the top. If you don't prefer hiking, you can use the cable car that is located at Middle Vodno and you can use public transportation to reach that point. Enjoy the great sights from the peak, including the entire city of Skopje, and lots of nature.

Taxis are the fastest way to get around

Skopje is a small town and most of the points of interest are reachable by foot. But, if you ever need to use public transportation services my advice would be to get a taxi. It's the fastest way to move around the city and it's cheap. The starting price is 40 denars (0.65 €) and each kilometer is 25 denars (0.41 €).
