There reservoir is beautiful and has walking tracks, mountain bike trails and kayaking and paddle boards for hire. The water is warm and has a designated swimming area. Heaven!

Get panoramic views of the city after a brisk bush walk on a paved track. Enjoy a coffee and snack or ice cream at the top. Best after some rain but we’ll shaded all year round!

Need a lay on a Sandy beach - streets beach is your best bet. The kids will love the splash pool and everyone will love the large swimming pool too. Open late if you fancy a night swim on those balmy summer nights.
Weekends are market days so pick up some new jewellery or a nice bit of art. There are loads of food options around but my favourite is Olé, a tapas restaurant with a great vibe.

It’s a night food market in container ships. Right on the river, this place gets busy and oozes atmosphere. There’s live music, bouncy castles, bars and more food than you can imagine and a few boutique shops to boot. Do not eat before you go!
There is a cover charge to get in but it’s worth it!

Kids favourites
This one is for the kids. The best new playground around. It has everything, is fully enclosed and has bbqs if you want an evening play and feed.
Only downside is the young trees that haven’t quite grown enough to provide shade but it’s coming!

Hire an electric scooter to visit all the sights.
Lime and neuron scooters are available throughout the city. Just download the app and pick them up and go. You don’t need great balance, just a sense of fun. It saves your legs but let’s you see the city from the streets and river walkways.
