Food, Wine & Fun while at "The Old Barrel Shed"
My favourite art history visit.
My absolute favourite place to visit and our next-door neighbours (even if you have to drive a minute to get there). Who knew that Dame Nellie Melba visited this very place in the Adelaide Hills, so long ago? Even Charlie Chaplin, Sir Laurence Olivier and Vivian Leigh amongst many others popped by! This is an amazing piece of hidden Australian History on our doorstep. The Cedars is home to a very special bespoke Tea-room and so makes for a perfect outing to enjoy some important history and to meet with friends. It would take about 35 minutes to walk there, less on the way back because it is downhill!

Just a minute or two around the corner and you can try some fabulous and unusual varietals (about 40 minutes walk). These guys were the original pioneers of Gruner Veltliner which has quickly become a signature Hills variety. Brilliant experience.
