The Ludington Library is walking distance and a great spot for kiddos and adults alike. The Library has a nice open play area for kids... a great (free) choice on a rainy day.

This little market is just a couple blocks away from the Historic Blue House and it's pretty awesome. They have an extensive deli, fresh produce, and great beer/wine options. There is a sit-down bar in the market and they also serve espresso.

If you are interested in taking a nice short/long, hike/walk through a beautiful area the State Park is worth the drive. There is an entrance fee.

Bicycles, Strollers, and Fancy Footwork
The Historic Blue House is walking distance to downtown Ludington as well as the beach so bringing bikes and strollers could be handy. We've got a collapsible wagon at the house to cart belongings to and from the beach that guests are welcome to use.

Stearns Beach
Stearns Beach is only about 5 blocks away and a great place to let the hours go by. Sunsets at the beach do not disappoint, as the great migration to the beach at sunset can attest to.
