Best happy hour spot in SB! In non-snow season, the outside patio is perfect for sipping a cocktail while watching summer tubers float by on the Yampa. Great HH prices and large HH portions!

This is the best breakfast I have had in Steamboat! But it’s very busy so either get there early or be prepared to wait especially during ski season but it’s worth it. It’s a very small place so keep that in mind if you have a large party.

This is my favorite appres ski place. It a local fave! It’s low-key with friendly bartenders right off the slopes and has the best dry rub wings in town. Also open in the summer for relaxing by the mountain.

Essentials
The title says it all..."The Essentials". If you are in Steamboat, you will certainly end up at these spots. But, these are so close to the condo, you will not feel like you are out doing "errands" all day and you will get what you need fast.
Right down the way from our condo. Very convenient for all of your grocery needs.

This place has the best prices on wine! Even better than Denver. So much that we wait to buy when we are in Steamboat and bring it back! And, it is right next to City Market (right down the street from the condo)...how convenient!

I love this store! I try to go every time I'm in SB, it has Steamboat & mountain-themed shirts/tanks/onesies/dish towels/art and more. It is a great place to buy souvenirs that don't look like souvenirs.

If you drove in to Steamboat from the East during daylight, you surely saw Rabbit Ears pass. There are a ton of hiking trails and in the winter, snowmobiling trails. A classic area here in northern CO.

Tremendous views! The drive is worth taking for the scenery.
Known as a family friendly mountain that also has some very challenging terrain. Something for everyone. In addition to its famous champagne powder, it has perhaps the best tree skiing anywhere.
