Food scene
Eat great food on Cartier - there's also a great local grocery store to buy meat, fresh fruits and vegetables. At Cartier's mall you can also buy fresh fish and seafood + cheese! You will find great restaurants (I recommend: Graffiti and Bistro B for more French cuisine and Metropolitan for sushi) and café (Krieghoff). There's a SAQ to buy alcool, pharmacy, cinema and grocery stores.
TIP: if you plan strolling Grande-Allée or Plains at lunch, stop at Fastoche in Cartier's hall to grab a sandwich or baguette to go and eat on the Plains across the street (go behind the art museum you'll have a nice view).

If you come in end of July or beginning August, make sure you go to Neuville to get fresh corn and various local veggies. You can also find their produce on avenue Cartier close to the apartment.
