The Venice Canals hark back to the early 1900s when the entire city of Venice was a theme park that mimicked Venice Italy. Many of the wide streets we drive on today, were once water canals where tourists could hire a gondola. The Venice Canals that remain were saved by conservancy groups and today you can meander along the waterways while taking in the beauty and uniqueness of this Venice neighborhood.
