Escondido, CA is a quaint little city just 10 miles from our Airbnb. Esco, as locals call it, has wide streets/sidewalks as old towns have..., and many unique shops including the famous Filippis Pizza Grotto, and O'Sullivan's Irish Pub. Friday nights is a happening time when Cruisin Grand is on..., which is usually every Friday night from April to Sept., but due to Covid-not open. However, come back -- Cruisin Grand is one of the greatest ongoing traditions in San Diego County-of Vintage Auto Show in the historic downtown Escondido. It is not only for classic car enthusiasts, but a place to meet up with friends strolling along Grand Avenue, stopping in for a bite to eat a one of many restaurants.
There are many grocery stores in Esco... Von's grocery, a DQ, just off El Norte, Escondido.

Centrally located between San Diego and Los Angeles, Oceanside is frequently referred to as “the hub of Southern California.” From here, it’s easy to access a variety of amusement parks and family activities such as Disneyland, Legoland, Sea World and the San Diego Zoo.

Ahhhh. La Jolla, just 40 miles south of our Airbnb. An area of the most expensive real estate in the country. La Jolla Cove area is a small, picturesque cover with sweeping ocean views, and a Shell Beach tide pools that are homes to anemones and crabs. Posh boutiques and watergront restaurants dot walkable La Jolla Village. La Jolla, San Diego, CA.
La Jolla is most know for the world -renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course that sit atop sea cliffs.
La Jolla things to do:
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at many places with a view
Head to La Jolla Cove to watch the sea lions
Take a view from Ellen Browning Scripps Park
Enjoy Happy Hour outside seating only now by the sea
Stroll the art galleries or tour the eclectic Murals of La Jolla
