Bring layers and comfortable shoes
We are up in the hills so even in warm weather it can sometimes get cool at night. The house is well-heated, but it can be cold outside. A lot of the area around the house is asphalt, so supportive shoes are a must. Indoors, we appreciate people going shoes-free or wearing slippers.
