For a quick completely nature experience. Take the 20 minute walk through the forest at North Point Park and end up on the sand dune bluffs 100’ above Lake Michigan. Perfect place to take a picnic.

Michigan’s six fish hatcheries release up to 330,000 ton of indigenous fish in to the lakes, rivers and waterways a year. This small hatchery is about a 30 minute drive from the house.

Typically mid August through early September you can pick your own blueberries just 1 mile north of the property. Just follow the U-Pick signs to the white trailer. I keep baking supplies in the house for you to make some blueberry muffins for the next days breakfast :)
