Winter Activities
OUTDOOR SKATING: Usually around end of December once the ice has froze, the town sets up iceskating and sometimes a volunteer will make a trail to skate as well.
TOBOGGANING: If you have kids under the age 10, they will absolutely love this hill. This hill goes all the way onto the frozen ice for extra distance !

Pinawa Dam Provincial Heritage Park
Manitoba 520This is an absolutely gorgeous place to hike during the winter. Lots of cool sites to see. This historic site is only a 15 minute drive from our airbnb.

This is also a beautiful place to explore ! Also known as the "Pinawa Red Trail. " This is a 15 minute drive from our airbnb.
You can go just to see the bridge, or you can cross country ski this 7.1km trail.

Enjoy hanging out by the fire afterwards for a hotdog and some yummy toasted marshmallows with your family and friends. There is a wonderful spot you can stop to have a bonfire, picnic tables, shelter etc.

Trans Canada TrailLocated less than 10 minutes from our Airbnb. Hit the trails at Blueberry Rock with snowshoes or your winter hiking gear!
