The main areas I recommend to see are:
San Marco, Rialto, the Bridge of Sighs, Palazzo Ducale, the Acqua Alta Library, the Biennale Gardens, La Fenice Theater, The Accademia Museum, but there are many other places very intersting to visit.
The price of a gondola is around € 80 for 1 hour.
The single ticket for the vaporetto costs € 7.50 per person - while the day ticket costs € 20 per person (if you make more trips during the day I recommend buying the daily pass).
