Krapanj is the smallest inhabited island on the Mediterranean. It's about 1 kilometer long and 400 meters wide. 70% of the island is covered in pine forest and olive gardens. Small forest paths are perfect to get lost and enjoy the smell of the pine trees as well as the singing of the birds. The village is quiet and lazy, as it should be on a holiday and occasional local "festa's" just add up to the experience of a true Dalmatian village. Local fishermen can be seen almost every evening when fishing is suitable, and they will certainly tell you more about it if you ask them.
The house's surroundings are peaceful and the neighbors are friendly, so respect and smile are the things you can expect every day if you give them in return.

Where to have a great martini...
Along side cocktails, ice creams and good coffee's there is one the more refreshing thing you can find in the local clubs and beach bars...the greatest martini in the area can also be found here so seat back on the lower terrace of Krapanj hotel and absorb the smell and sounds on the evening sea on Krapanj or dance with the sounds of every worldly beat in one of the near by clubs.
Hotel Spongiola is the first and only hotel on the island. However, it's not just a hotel...There you can find a museum dedicated to the diving tradition on the island.
A hotel beach bar is the place where you can drink a refreshing cocktail or ice coffee in a break from swimming and sun bathing.

If you wish to move your body with the sounds of your favourite music, this club should be your first choice.

br 34 Obala ITanfara family, a well respected sponge hunting family in Croatia, has been nurturing the sponge hunting tradition for over 100 years. They decided to share that tradition with everyone by opening their doors to visitors to their newly opened sponge gallery located not far from the center of the island.

An amazing unspoiled natural canyon of the Cikola river goes trough the rocky surroundings of Drnis karst. There you can also find Sibenik zip-line if that's your thing :)
