Best Beaches
Be sure to wear hiking shoes, there is a little hike down to the beach. This is one of the favorite beaches on the island. Epic sunsets! But you will have to leave by sunset as there is no camping over night.

Don't miss this beach! It is quite an epic drive from VIlla Shakti, through Topolia Gorge and along winding mountain roads. This beach has a few snack shops, but best to pack a lunch (and sunblock) and spend the day in this paradise with pink sand!

Super Sunsets at this beach! We love to go down the way past all the sun beds to find a more natural sandy beach area. There are several sweet little tavernas in Phalasarna to enjoy. The drive is quite easy from Villa Shakti.

Our closest beach, just down the hill. Pebbles and some sandy spots with gorgeous view of the 2 peninsulas. There are several taverna on the beach with beach chairs and plenty of free space to enjoy family time in the sun!

Beautiful mountain village with hikes and rural trails around the old abandoned village. Several taverna on the main road. You can hike the Topolia Gorge starting at Antikristo Taverna and then eat beautiful local food from this rural taverna.

We love this little town with so many beaches to choose from. City beaches with sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as so many beaches and camping areas. Plenty of tavernas to choose from and a colorful night scene... Everyone sitting out in the cafes and streets having a drink and a laugh!

Fantastic bustling restaurant, perfect stop after a long day at Balos beach. They have beautiful homemade bread, delicious dishes and a special decor. Very popular place, there can sometimes be a wait to get a table.

Lovely stop on the side of the road in Topolia village.... just a few minutes from us. We love their Dakos and a cold local beer: 'Charma' sure hits the spot! Beautiful views at their outdoor dining. Perfect place to take off, or arrive from hiking Topolia Gorge or just take a little hike around old upper topolia and see all the abandoned village houses. Best to aim for a lunch here. All the tourists returning from Elafonissi will eat up all the food and since its made fresh on a wood fire oven everyday... they always run out of food towards the end of the day.
