The Vest Coast
Here we share some of our favorite nature locations in the vest of Norway!
In winter there are many nice places for slalom and summit hiking. There are many good features near Voss, including Myrkdalen. There you can rent ski and what you need.

What a beutiful place! You can visit the camp site (Refvikssanden), or camp on one of the mant beutiful opportunities along the roads.
Visit the light house Skongenes Fyr and Kråkenes Fyr, or check out Kannesteinen.
We can also recommend Bremangerlandet, which is not so far away. Here you can do a hike to Vetvika (see the picture) or visit Grotle Beach (which is one of Norways most beautiful beaches).
This location is about 5 and a halv hour from Bergen (where you pick up the van). When there are so many beautiful places nearby, there is no doubt that we highly recommend this area!

Mountains
Hardangervidda is an area with many opportunities. If you drive to Geilo from Bergen (about four hours to drive), it is a good starting point to get up the mountain. There you can sleep in the car and go day trips on skis, or go hiking with skiis and tent for several days. Then we can recommend visiting the tourist cabin Tuva, with very good waffles. They often also have accommodation.

Hardangerviddan
Hardangervidda is an area with many opportunities. If you drive to Geilo from Bergen (about four hours to drive), it is a good starting point to get up the mountain. Holleia is a large forest area with nice small lakes, trails, forest roads and good hiking opportunities. It is on the east side of Norway (and about 7 hours to drive from Bergen).
We can recommend traveling to Skogstjern, near Tyristrand. This is an area we can recommend visiting if you plan to travel nearby and vant to do a hike.

Holleia is a large forest area with nice small lakes, trails, forest roads and good hiking opportunities. It is on the east side of Norway (and about 7 hours to drive from Bergen).
We can recommend traveling to Skogstjern, near Tyristrand. This is an area we can recommend visiting if you plan to travel nearby and vant to do a hike.

Welcome to Bergen! We really recommend visiting the small, cozy streets at Nordnes and walk up to Skansemyren. Gamle Bergen is also a place we like very much.
We can also recommend the coffee at Det Lille Kaffekompaniet. How about a coffee there while you plan your trip, before you pick up the van?

Are you ready for a longer trip in Norway, we can recommend visiting Gutvik and Sundsvikkrysset. This is an area with really nice sunsets. It is 5 hours north of Trondheim.
If you travel further north, you will come to the famous Helgeland coast, which can also really be recommended. If you drive past Brønnøysund, we can recommend lunch or dinner at Kred or GOMA.
