If you're looking for fun coffee choices, this is the place. The décor is charming and welcoming. We love it here. This is truly a local spot. They also have fresh breakfast choices, from sandwiches to pastries, to delight the taste buds.

Well, you enjoy a good or even great burger... Of course, everything is subjective, but I think this is borderline great... with the exception of ordering a double 3 oz. burger, instead of the 6 oz. For some reason, your experience will increase with a double 3 oz. Again, subjective. Ooh, the fries and shakes, yes, please!

I literally have to stop myself from ordering here every week, but I still give in... My personal favorite is the thin crust if you're trying to act as if you care about yourself, and even better if you order the cauliflower crust for a small... Heck, or you could just get the regular crust and be done with it. Beer and pizza... does it really get any better? Oh, and this place has a great local vibe inside or out on the patio. Love this pizza! Simply love it!!

This is the heart of Kernville and a must-visit. A few more minutes away is Riverside Park, with a view of the Kern River.

About 50 minutes North of Kernville, this is a must-see in the valley. The drive is generous with wonder and well worth your time. The drive will give you a sense of the area, where you'll come upon McNally's Restaurant, and Johnsondale Bridge, all running alongside the Kern River. This is the part where you breathe in the air, let go, and enjoy what the area offers.

This is the nightlife here in Kernville. Locals gather here to let their hair down, relax, sing karaoke, play pool, see a live band, or just sit and watch all the fun.
I myself have to limit my interaction with this place, because it emotes too much fun... and plenty of it! I just don't know when the fun should stop, but in your case, you're on vacation... just bring your buddy and tell Jim that Chris sent you. You won't regret it.

Stay Safe
This is a river community. Make sure to keep the kids close when visiting the river. The river can be a wonderful experience, but it's also nature. Be sure always to wear a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) and helmet in the river. We don't have Life Jackets because the idea of a Lifejacket saving anyone is impossible. It's purely a flotation device. Always prepare for any adventure in the river. We suggest always listening to the professionals. White Water Voyages, Sierra South, and Mountain River Adventures are a few awesome options. These are highly trained experts to help.
