She is witty, well-spoken and generally a lovely girl to interact with. She speaks Telugu and a few other Hindu dialects, Spanish and several local languages.
Other than her charming personality, she has beautiful creations from house decorations, outfits, handbags, jewellery made from local materials with some of the most intricate designs. Even if you don't know what you are looking for, you can speak to her and she'll design it for you!

Tuk tuks are an easy mode of transportation from the house
If you would like to experience the local transport system, tuk tuks are available from the house. You can use them for longer distance travels when you negotiate.
You can also use them for short distances like to the stage, catch a matatu (the 14 seater vehicles) to any location. Fares range from Ksh 100(USD 1) to town to Jomo Kenyatta Beach popularly known as Pirates KSH 40 (USD 0.40)

Dress Code in Certain Areas
It is important to note that Mombasa is predominantly a Muslim population. As such dress code is important. In public areas, one is expected to dress appropriately i.e no bikinis in malls, town centre, or see-through outfits. Booty shorts have to be of appropriate length in public areas to avoid offending the locals.
While at the public beach, bikinis are also considered a tad in appropriate as children access these areas. Bikinis are best worn with a coverall with some exceptions like in private beaches and hotel's swimming pools and beach fronts. It is advisable to check with management
