Altstadt's premium German-style beers are carefully made using only four ingredients - hops, barley, yeast and artesian spring water - under the direction of a world-renowned German Brewmaster using the finest hops, barley and yeast imported from Germany.
Born of a peach orchard planted in 1928 and a roadside produce stand opened in 1969, the specialty food company founded by Case Fischer and Mark Wieser followed a path toward Culinary Adventure even before the path had a name. That journey, true to the values, curiosity and appreciation found in any plan derived from nature, gave the Texas Hill Country the Culinary Adventure Cooking School in 2016 and the Culinary Adventure Tasting Room in 2017.
