Paul and Kaci Knaysi opened Pablo’s Pizza in October 2000, after 3 years of planning and research. Paul and Kaci had been working as a medical social worker and a physical therapist respectively. Tiring of the medical field, they decided to go into business for themselves. After exploring different business options, they settled on pizza, as they felt that it would be fun to own a pizzeria and allow for creativity. Of course it helps that almost everyone loves pizza! AND they support local organic farmers in the Grand Valley which makes us love these guys even more!

Ridgeline is a close community of fitness and outdoor enthusiasts. Especially if you visit during the week, you will see our crew sprinting around the block, throwing kettlebells, flipping tires or getting their chill-out vibe on with yoga. We love the functional training to get ready for being in the CO wilderness.

Colorado National Monument is a must see if you are new to the area. Colorado National Monument preserves one of the grand landscapes of the American West. But this treasure is much more than a monument. Towering monoliths exist within a vast plateau and canyon panorama. You can experience sheer-walled, red rock canyons along the twists and turns of Rim Rock Drive, where you may spy bighorn sheep and soaring eagles.

Mount Garfield is an iconic landmark of the Grand Valley located near the town of Palisade. The hike is two miles one way with 2,000 feet of elevation change - The trails are steep and challenging but offer exceptional views. Expect the hike to take several hours to complete. Be prepared with plenty of water and sturdy footwear. Hiking poles can be very useful, especially for the decent. There are two different trails leading to the top of Mt. Garfield: The two mile long Mt. Garfield Trail is shorter but more strenuous while Gearhart Mine Trail is 2.5 miles to the top.
