Neighborhoods
Specially during summer time, I would suggest to go to Ergersheim through the cycle path and have a break in “Le Ravito des Cyclos” along the Bruche canal (careful, they only accept cash). It’s a 15 km ride, flat, you will cross several villages, lakes and trees. If you are in for a longer ride, you can continue to Wasselonne (32 km) or even to Saverne (55 km). You can rent a Vélhop which is bikes from Strasbourg city.

If you don’t have time to visit everything and have to choose between one of them, I would suggest Kaysersberg which is my favorite. You have the charm of a small typical Alsatian village, one of the beautifulest village of France by the way, with the atmosphere of a beautiful Christmas Market with good stuff to eat and drink.
