Sightseeing
On the doorstep is a beautiful area for bushwalking with trails for both Mountain biking and running. The dams playground, picnic, and BBQ areas down by the water make for a great end to any day. The kids (and adults) can have a swim and feed the resident birds and wildlife.
The Dam is easily accessible by bushwalk or by car. Mountain bike trails are one-way with multiple entries the closest behind Warringah Street (either end and one block north of our home).

Our hood
We've been living in NoBa for 16 years, it has always been a little village community which is why we love it. The area continues to change as more and more families move in, the elevated position, amenities, and natural beauty is best explored by foot or bike.

Here are some of the well-known (and not so well known) places to enjoy a beverage or bite to eat.
Awesome spot for a sunset beverage (this is the actual view!) with both indoor and outdoor (coverage) tables and chairs.
Relaxed family dinner spot for Friday nights (only). It is a must book as it is popular with the locals.
The clubhouse is an easy walk, with a slight uphill there, but downhill home ;)
If you love your golf or if time permits this public golf course has amazing views and presents a good challenge. Recent renovations make it even better than it was, although few know it is there. Have an early 9 holes or make a booking for an afternoon 18. Call the pro shop to confirm the best days and times to turn up or to make a booking.

Beach Tips
We live on the Northern Beaches to have access to an endless list of harbour, surf, and lakeside beaches. Dive in explore and find your favourite.
Here is just a few of ours
A popular northeast facing Harbour beach. Great spot for kids play and swim, extending the day by catching the afternoon sun.
Parking is limited and paid. Traffic and getting a spot can be hard on a beautiful day. Be patient it is worth it once you're there. Otherwise, make it more enjoyable and grab an Uber, it is only 5-7 min drive.

A popular northeast facing Harbour beach. Great spot for kids play and swim, extending the day by catching the afternoon sun.
Parking is limited and paid. Traffic and getting a spot can be hard on a beautiful day. Be patient it is worth it once you're there. Otherwise, make it more enjoyable and grab an Uber, it is only 5-7 min drive.
10 mins by car or a quick bus from the local shops are the beaches referred to as Manly.
Walk around the corner to the protected Shelly Beach or park on the sand anywhere between South Steyne and Queenscliff patrolled surf beach.
Harbour beach options are available on both sides of Manly Wharf.
Meaning whatever the weather is doing there are plenty of options to soak up the sun and refresh in the beautiful waters of Manly.
Local Tip: FREE parking (2 hours) is available in any of the local council car parks. This makes the trip to the beach easy.
While other parking is available on the street with nearly all controlled by metered parking and limits.
South Steyne Beach
10 mins by car or a quick bus from the local shops are the beaches referred to as Manly.
