Great Seafood with wonderful atmosphere. This is just a 2 minute walk from the condo and it has great food. It does get crowded, so arrive early or expect a wait, especially during the peak season.

This is a tiny restaurant, but it has big flavors. And amazing margaritas! One large margaritas, and I am good to go! If you like salads, the Mexican Chopped Salad is excellent. This is one place that my wife and I try to visit each time we are in Lewes. It is that good.
If you want to sit inside, get there early and plan to wait. It's ok, you can walk around the town of Lewes. This restaurant is popular so plan to wait, especially in season and on weekends. If you are visiting in the off season, go during the week. It will be easier to get in. If you do have to wait, there is a local English Pub that we like right around the corner. They have good drinks to get the night started. They have opened another larger restaurant on Route 1. Both locations have the same fantastic food and drink.

A bright, cheery atmosphere with great food. My ribeye steak was delicious. They brew their own beer. I had the No Bad Days Lager, which I found to be very clean and crisp. Lots of other brews to choose from as well. An overall great dining experience.

The food at the Irish Eyes Pub and Restaurant was delicious. But the atmosphere was even better. Imagine sitting outside eating your meal next to the water at the boating docks. Then when you are finished with your meal you can walk around the pier and look at the boats and the sun setting in the horizon.

213 Anglers RdThe food at the Irish Eyes Pub and Restaurant was delicious. But the atmosphere was even better. Imagine sitting outside eating your meal next to the water at the boating docks. Then when you are finished with your meal you can walk around the pier and look at the boats and the sun setting in the horizon.
I highly recommend a stop here. The ice cream is creamy and delicious and there's just something about eating ice cream at a dairy farm that makes it even more enjoyable. We went at lunchtime in the off season, and there was a line, so if you're going in the summer, you may want to avoid peak hours, but even if you arrive and find a long line, stick it out because the ice cream is worth it!

We went at lunchtime in the off season, and there was a line, so if you're going in the summer, you may want to avoid peak hours, but even if you arrive and find a long line, stick it out because the ice cream is worth it!

My wife and I really enjoyed eating at the Summer House. They just remodeled the place and the decor was very well done. The food was delicious. I had the pan-seared Rockfish with mashed potatoes and garlic green beans. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

Situated at the mouth of the Delaware Bay sits Cape Henlopen State Park and its 6+ miles of coastline. The “Point” of Cape Henlopen, where the Delaware Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean, shaped the history of this landscape. For millenia, native people lived off the land’s abundant and rich resources and in the late 1600s, William Penn’s family granted the land and allowed citizens to harvest many of the same resources. The area’s strategic position led to the construction of Fort Miles during World war II with its iconic fire control towers along the Atlantic coast and, which served as a federal defensive site, training area and testing location both during and after the war. A diverse collection of habitats makes up the coastal ecosystem of Cape Henlopen State Park. Barrier dune, coastal beaches, and maritime forest are home to many species of plants and animals. Visitors can visit the Seaside Nature Center to participate in an interpretive program or learn about the park’s native plants and animals.
The daily cost to enter the park is $5 for DE registered cars and $10 for out of state cars. Get there early to enjoy a whole day of activities.

It was very educational and interesting learning about the history and brewing methods of Dogfish Head Beer. The tour cost us $20 and it takes about an hour and fifteen minutes, but plan to spend more time there as there is a bar and food available to purchase. We felt the cost was a good deal. Plenty of outdoor games for the kids and family to play: corn hole, ladder-ball, and a large Jenga set are there for entertainment. All in all a few hours of good fun.

Rent bikes by the day or week. They will deliver and pick up. Great service. We rented bikes for a week in July and really appreciated the delivery service. It was fun riding on the Lewes-Georgetown Trail seeing the sites along the way.
