Beautiful park on the St. Louis River with pavilions, grills, playground, bathrooms (open seasonally), boat and kayak launch, and a paved path that runs along the river. One of our favorite spots :)

Park Point, also called Minnesota Point, has 7 miles of gorgeous sandy beach on the Duluth side of Lake Superior with numerous public access points. There's also a beach house toward the end of the point with lifeguard, bathrooms , playground, volleyball courts, and pavilion. Just a quick 15 minute drive from the house.

Other great features in Canal Park area include Bayfront Park, the Lakewalk promenade, the Great Lakes Aquarium, DeWitt-Seitz Marketplace, and numerous gift shops, restaurants, brewpubs, art galleries, and more!
