Come for the views! Portland has a lot of beautiful sites including mt st Helena and mt hood. You can literally see most of Portland. Fare was about $6 roundtrip and it a nice and quick ride up.

Beautifully situated at the west hill! The view is breathtaking anytime of the year with a nice surrounding garden. The mansion itself is full of history if you want to pay the $10 it costs to get in.
