This is located inside Colombo, near Battaramulla. I also didn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes. Various types of birds everywhere. Don't spoil the place please.

Ancient temple situated in Gampaha district, just one hour away from Olive Apartments. History goes beyond B.C. era, in early Anuradhapura kingdom period. There are quite a few ancient drip ledge caves with stone carvings. Akasa dagaba can be seen in upper terrace. When you get to the top of the rock, you can see an amazing view at Colombo City with tall buildings including Lotus tower.

Ancient temple situated in Gampaha district, just one hour away from Olive Apartments. History goes beyond B.C. era, in early Anuradhapura kingdom period. There are quite a few ancient drip ledge caves with stone carvings. Akasa dagaba can be seen in upper terrace. When you get to the top of the rock, you can see an amazing view at Colombo City with tall buildings including Lotus tower.

There is a boat service from Diyatha station to Water's Edge for a minimum cost. A must visit place for guests who are staying at Olive apartment
