This is a real good place close to the tip of the Door. They have a real good selection of Whitefish prepared in a lot of different ways. Only open midweek and NO reservations.

This a big place and you don't always have to wait for a table. I also like the bar especially if they have some entertainment. The portions are a little large for me and the service was a little weak on the last visits. The cheese curds are amazing!

This is an institution in Sister Bay. Get in line right when they open to avoid the wait for the table to turn over. We like it for the Deep Fried Perch, which is cheaper on Friday nights, but always available.

This restaurant is another Door County institution, know for the goats on the roof. The Swedish pancakes and Swedish meatballs are the draw. Top the pancakes with lingonberries. Get there early to beat the crowd.

This is my son's favorite breakfast spot. It has a lot of interesting scramblers that are really good. The scones are excellent! This year they will add alcohol, as Ephraim was the last town in Wisconsin to go wet. This might lead to it being a dinner place too.

Right in downtown Sister Bay is a great place for lunch. You can also get a gelato or bring back some for a before meal snack. The quality is very good and you will enjoy it.

They also have a fish bowl, but I think the fish bowl fish needs more favor. Go for the show and not the food.

You might not need another place to drink, but this is a brewery with some really good beer. They also have music from time to time. In the summer they get peachs from Colorado that are delicious.

We have done this and it is a lot of fun. Seeing some of the old ship wrecks and hearing the stories is very interesting and fun. It is little workout, but that is always good.

This is the best biking trail. You can rent bikes right at the end of the entrance to the park. You do not have to fight any traffic and at the end you are at a beautiful beach. The trail is through Peninsula State Park, which is a real chem in Door County.

This beach and another one on Washington island have the same round pebble rocks. In the summer it is also a great swimming beach with no sand. The water gets deep fast. Do not take the rocks from the beach.

It is hard to find, but this light house from a by gone era looks like what you want your light house to look like. We use to go there all the time for solitude, but now there is parking and a charge. We did it so much, that we don't go there any more.
