(50 Miles - 1 Hour 25 Min) From US Forest Service Site: Views of a rushing ribbon of pools and waterfalls await you on the Lava Canyon Trail. Three sections of the trail, one section which is accessible, provide opportunities for all. Due to closure of the Lava Canyon Suspension Bridge, the 1.4 mile upper loop is not possible. The first small bridge remains open for crossing the river. You may still walk down both sides of the river to the suspension bridge, you just can't cross it. Lower section past the suspension bridge is open. Alert: Although it may be tempting to leave the trail and explore, going off-trail is dangerous and fatalities have occurred. Please stay on the trail at all times.

(50 Miles - 1 Hour 25 Min) From US Forest Service Site: Views of a rushing ribbon of pools and waterfalls await you on the Lava Canyon Trail. Lewis River Lower Falls
(65 Miles - 1 Hour 50 Min) Great 8.4 mile out/back hike with 3 major waterfalls. You can also just drive up and walk a short distance to Lower Lewis River Falls. There is also a parking lot at Middle Falls. Reservations for parking are required from June 15th to September 6th via recreation.gov.
(40 Miles - 1 Hour) This is a short 4mile RT trail mostly on a road closed to most traffic to a beautiful peaceful waterfall.

(77 miles - 1 Hour 25 Min) Coldwater Lake is on the way to Johnston Ridge, one of the. main visitor centers for Mount St Helens Monument. It is a great picnic stop and also has a short paved interpretive trail. It is also great for a longer hike and has a trail that circles the lake but it does require about a mile of walking on the road. Recommendation is to go to main Coldwater Lake parking lot, follow the interpretive trail to the boat launch and to your left you will see a trail that follows the north side of the lake where you can hike out/back as far as you like. If you hit it right, there will be an abundance of wildflowers.

(71 Miles from Rental). Starting on Mother's Day until the fall, Astoria, Oregon has a great art market on Sunday's. Astoria is located at the mouth of the Columbia River. It is also known for its breweries, a column overlooking the city, a Maritime Museum, Victorian homes and large sea lions.
