Apart from having some of the best tasting wines in the Clare Valley, Paulett Wines also offers the Bush Devine Cafe as part of their cellar door. There are no better views than from this restaurant. Enjoy a beautiful main course or their speciality shared tasting platters between two or with a group. Children are well looked after (provided with blankets and colouring materials on arrival), the service is first class and you won't be able to leave without buying a bottle from their cellar door...

If you're after a quality country pub atmosphere, with a more upmarket menu offering one of the BEST steak meals available in the state (in fact, this place has won hospitality awards over several years), then you will love the very cool blend of the Rising Sun Inn at Auburn. Great wine list, great hospitality. Nice romantic spot for couples if you manage to grab a table out the front on a balmy summer's evening. Great jukebox too, dominated by Aussie rock to boot. We love it here for a night out.

Great wine list, great hospitality. Nice romantic spot for couples if you manage to grab a table out the front on a balmy summer's evening. Great jukebox too, dominated by Aussie rock to boot. We love it here for a night out.

The menu has awesome variety, well priced, the downstairs wine cellar has some brilliant options to choose from - but the beer garden is the clincher! If you're keen to watch a major sporting event in the outdoor area, or just relax with the family in a spot that caters for all seasons - this is a great spot. A very busy spot for weekend lunches, but well worth booking in advance.

The menu has awesome variety, well priced, the downstairs wine cellar has some brilliant options to choose from - but the beer garden is the clincher! If you're keen to watch a major sporting event in the outdoor area, or just relax with the family in a spot that caters for all seasons - this is a great spot. A very busy spot for weekend lunches, but well worth booking in advance.
What a hidden gem! Can't believe it took us so long to discover, but the newly renovated Slate Restaurant at Pike's Winery & Brewery is phenomenal. The food, service, atmosphere (not to mention the quality of wine and beer!) is outstanding. Best steak we have had in many years...

Formerly the old 'Seed' site, but is now called 'Ragu'.
We tried this over the most recent Gourmet weekend and it was spectacular. The wine list is a mix of local and Italian, the food is so authentic and the service outstanding. There's a great bar area to finish the night with an Espresso Martini too.
Has become our new favourite in the Valley.

Skillogalee is an institution but it's definitely had a recent makeover with a beautiful modern menu to pair with their own incredible wines.
When you're booking, ask for a spot under the Olive tree - it is so perfect for a long lunch.

They sell their own award winning extra virgin olive oil and kalamata table olives, plus a wide selection of produce grown and made at Patly Hill, including jams, marmalades, pickles and other preserves. Their famous Roasted Capsicum Sauce is bursting with flavour and you will likely find some in our Cottage for you to enjoy!
