The historic centre of Vathy is located on the hillside above Samos Town and is worth exploring the narrow streets and old churches - just don’t take your car!

Car Hire & Excursions
Renting a car is the easiest way to get around Samos. Head to Sophie’s Car Rental in the centre of town for a wide selection of cars and bikes available for hire. You can also book guided tours and excursions here.

Supermarkets
There are some fabulous bakeries and mini markets in Kokkari but if you are looking for a fully stocked supermarket then head to Lidl. It’s located just outside Samos Town on the road to the airport.

Beaches
There are two main beaches in Kokkari. Kokkari Beach is a long pebble beach located close to the centre of town and has many bars and restaurants located along its length. Lemonakia Beach is smaller and more secluded and can be accessed from behind the house, just a few minutes walk away. It has a relaxing bar located at the top of the steps with sun loungers and parasols available for hire.
