Orange Creek offers a beatiful beach with a unique sand bar at low tide. Must swim and experience the changing currents, ensure you are a good swimmer. There is also a food store in Orange creek. Be sure to pack a light snack bag or cooler in the event you arrive to the island later than expected, the Orange Creek store is not opened on Saturdays.

Once you arrive to the island please contact Antonese (our assistant) to arrange meeting time for key exchange and information regarding the house-242. 474.2532.
If you do rent or travel by car, ensure you top up with fuel in the area you rent the vehicle. Sometimes the North is out of fuel. If you are in the North check with Yardies Restaurant, bar and conch salad stand located in Benett's Harbour. (242) 354.6076

Shannna Bay and surrounding area is a bit rocky, pack runners, or closed in shoes for hikes or trail to the beach.

If you intend on eating out, most places will provide meals however, it is wise to call ahead to find out about menu options and pre-order meals.
Pack snacks or specialty food items to have in the event the stores are closed when you arrive. Usually, I pack a small cooler of foods I like to have available for my trip to Cat Island.

Ample sunblock/bug repellent
Be sure to pack enough sunblock for your trip. There are often sandflies/mosquitoes, please remember to pack bug repellent and cream for after bites.
