Strande

There are several beaches you can drive to , which we can recommend. 1) Amager Strand which is a large beach , it's on the other side of the city. you need to walk a bit far from where you park, ( just so ou have that in mind, but it's big and you have several options. 2) Svanemøllen, which is a rather small beach and very chilleld also has a bathing pier so you have both the sandy beach and the pier you can jump from. In very warm weather it can be rather packed. 3) If you have some more time you should drive north to go to Bellevue Beach - this is really nice as well. it's close to the huge park Dyrehaven and the amusement park called Bakken.

Liikkuminen

The Metro or biking is the easiest way to get around

Transportation The metro is just 5 minutes walk from our home at Vanløse torv ( the square) where the shopping centre ”Kronen” also is. The metro will take you to the center of the city in 10-15 minutes. Stop at Nørreport or Kgs Nytorv, or Rådhuspladsen it’s very central and easy to get to everything in the center of Copenhagen if you stop these places. Kgs Nytorv: if you stop here you are on one of the main squares, leading to Strøget or Nyhavn. Rådhuspladsen: This is the main square of the city just 5.min, walk from Tivoli Gardens, and in the other direction it’s 1 min. From the shopping

What to see :-)

What to see: Nyhavn, Amailenborg A walk in Nyhavn is a must do. Have a cold drink and maybe also walk on the other side of the water (by Charlottenborg artexhibition) which will lead you over the ”Inner Bro” to a nice food court and in the direction of the Opera and Christianshavn. This is a fairly new bridge and you’ll find cool streetfood and happening places at the other side of the pedestrian bridge - the area is called Refshaleøen / Papir island. If you want a fairly ”hidden /secret” casual place to drink a glass of wine and hang out you should drive by car to La Banchina, which is
