Pneuma is the closest coffee shop to our Airbnb (other than Starbucks.) It is spacious, the staff are friendly, and it has beautiful views.
Local's tip: Avoid it on Sundays. Pneuma is affiliated with a local church and it is very packed on Sundays.

(Colorado Avenue runs East to West. ) Its a perfect location to grab coffee and then do a big loop. *However, like any place these days, lock vehicles and take any valuables with you.
Local tip: Story Coffee offers homemade "pop tarts" on Tuesdays.

Servings are large and its a fun, bar atmosphere. It is a family-friendly place for brunch - dinner and then 21+ as the night goes on. Check their website for a schedule of live bands.
Breakfast or brunch is best, try the bacon or donut burger if your diet is on vacation mode.

Adam's is technically in Manitou (the non-busy, East end), so it's about a 7 minute drive from our BnB. It's a great spot for vegans, vegetarians, or those who eat gluten-free. They also have some excellent lattes 🙌. I'm a coffee junkie and their Rose latte is one of my favorites.
Their portions aren't huge and their prices are a little higher...in other words, they really stress quality over quantity. This may not be a good fit if you're really trying to adhere to a strict budget or you have a large family/group. However, if you're a guest who has dietary restrictions, you like to splurge on vacation, or you crave some unique menu items, then Adam's is perfect for you!

The Pantry is open from 7am-2:30pm daily and has fantastic breakfast. We recommend the cinnamon roll French toast!

Front Range is a small, often-crowded, but fun and delicious BBQ joint! Check their website as they often have live bands. They are located in OCC, walking distance to the shops. This is hands-down our favorite BBQ joint around!

*Disclosure: we are not "made of money" and yet we can still afford and enjoy these places. Afterall, this is Colorado Springs, not Paris. Our goal is for our guests to enjoy their trip, not return home broke.

Miramont Castle hosts High Tea in the Queen's Parlor Room Tuesday - Sunday at 11am and 1pm. Online reservations are required, so book in advance if you're interested! It's a great activity for our more mature guests 😊.

If you're coming to town to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion I *highly* suggest you order from one of these places. Why?! Because baking at high-altitude is very hard if you're not used to it.
Simply the best bakery in town! Go in for individual treats or order a cake or pie in advance.

If you naturally have to drive around the Springs to run errands, pick up a rental car, and/or just want to take in the whole city, then lookup Amy's and see if it's convenient to swing by, you won't regret it!
