Vegan paradise and a lot of breweries in walking distance

If you were thinking "where can I stay that's close to a vegan restaurant or a brewery" then Petersham is for you. There is Newtown a short walk away or two stops ln the train, as well as Addison Road for some delicious vegan places. The breweries are so good in quality. Check out the raspberry and watermelon sour beers, they are super tasty.
Petersham is an inner west gem. Boasting arguably one of the better kebab shops in town, Brother's kebabs) the price is right and the location is sound. It's like a little village with Sweet Belem, the Portuguese bakery on New Canterbury Road, the shops on Norton St and the buses on Parramatta Road, you are well connected to the city, Sydney Uni as well as the surrounding locale. Quite simply it's easy to love and filled with character and charm.
