Fantastic Winery as well as great italian food. A little nicer spot but requires reservations for Dine in usually is busy. If nice out; they have an outdoor playground for kids...we like to order food
and wine to go and eat it outside while the kids play.

Great City run park that is an old Ranch and now for public use. It costs $5 CASH at the gate per adult....great trails for biking, hiking, and the Pedernales river provides a great rocky 'beach' and swimming hole when it is full with water. Recommend for kids/dogs on a hot day for cheap fun outdoors! Just bring plenty of water.

Great City run park that is an old Ranch and now for public use. It costs $5 CASH at the gate per adult....great trails for biking, hiking, and the Pedernales river provides a great rocky 'beach' and swimming hole when it is full with water. Recommend for kids/dogs on a hot day for cheap fun outdoors! Just bring plenty of water.
Probably the best 'high end' option in the area. Simply stunning architecture of an 17th century Vietnam Monastery that has been reconstructed to house a fabulous place to eat! you can't beat the atmosphere and the food is usually excellent. Make a reservation!!!

Head about 20 mins south to Wimberly and see a true old Texas downtown square, located on the banks of a beautiful creek with gigantic Cypress trees. Shop, eat and sightsee. Also check out the Blue Hole park for nature/outdoor lovers.
