This is a real find its like Venice beach (California) in Scotland. it has one of the most spectacular views of the firth of forth. Home made soups, various toasted sandwiches hot drinks fab cakes and ice cream galore. whilst listening to music inside or out. There are wooded gazebos and blankets outside for the not so nice days. it is surrounded by a promenade that goes on for miles greenery and a fine beach to go for a delightful walk or build a sand castle.

There are wooded gazebos and blankets outside for the not so nice days. it is surrounded by a promenade that goes on for miles greenery and a fine beach to go for a delightful walk or build a sand castle.
Set in the old high street within the small quaint town of South Queensferry. This is a restaurant/pub with spectacular views of the bridges set in the firth of forth. This restaurant is very much a fine bistro which serves a very varied menu including breakfasts/lunches/dinner also drinks including some fine cocktails. This is a 15 min drive from my guesthouse bus stop around the corner if travelling by bus.

Edinburgh castle is situated in the town centre it is at the top of the royal mile /High street. As you walk down from the castle the street is surrounded by little closes where you will find pubs and cafes tucked away. if you walk from the entrance of the castle all the way downhill for 1 mile you will come to Holyrood Palace surrounded in history and Arthur seat an extinct volcano (Kings park) .

You can take a lift up to the top floor in the new part of the museum and see a spectacular view of the city. There is also a cafe in the museum and a lovely restaurant next door. There are many cafes and bars around this area.
