This is one for meat-lovers. Macelleria is a combined butcher / restaurant, where you pick your cut of meat or sausages, kebabs etc and they cook it for you. Make sure you get there early; it can get busy. Dont be too deterred by the queues. The staff keep it moving pretty well.

This is a local favourite, and faces Bondi Icebergs at the southern end of the beach. Prices are very reasonable, and the views from the balcony are amazing. At 6pm, be prepared to stand for a minute's silence, as the patrons pay their respects to the ANZACs.
