15 Cross StThe Hotel has a very good restaurant but Vanilla Cottage guests love it most for its Afternoon teas which are up there with the best in the UK. In winter it also has a very lovely Apres Ski bar with fondue and mulled wine. Great fun atmosphere. Need to book.

Fabulous in all weathers and all seasons. we like it best early in the morning when it rises from the river mist.

Stunningly located ruined Priory Church with wonderful mountain walking all around it. Also some horse trekking in summer and you can drive up the narrow lane by the Priory to the hilltop beyond. Choose a day with clear skies and prepare to be amazed.
