Great spot if you want to enjoy HOURS of great eating. We love going there and ordering one or two dishes at a time... whilst enjoying their tasty cocktails (which aren't overpriced like a lot of other spots downtown). You should absolutely try their bacon wrapped almond figs, their sangria and their shafts! Lots of their plates include wonderful homemade sauces. You should ask for extra foccacia bread.

Good, simple pub fare close by. It's in a really cute character house. Be aware, though, it's haunted.

One of the very few Mexican restaurants in town (as opposed to all the "taco" spots downtown). Incredible selection of tequila and mezcal. They serve a variety of tex-mex and mexican food.

Amazing hot-dogs (hollowed out baguettes stuffed with tones of great combinations). Very tasty cocktails too! It's also right beside the cineplex. Ideal combo for a nice date night!

The best bennys in town! Try the Polish or the Becketts (a little spicy), you won't regret it. Expect a bit of a wait to get in, especially on the weekends... it's totally worth the wait, though!

The museum is nice. We go there mostly for the "Love Perogy". The best perogies in town! Part of a food truck festival in the BC Museum backyard. The chili-cheese perogies are our favourites!

I never knew what good sushi was until I went here. It is absolutely amazing! We try different plates every time and have yet to come across something that was less than great.
