Probably the best menu del dia and evening menu in the Casco Viejo. Winner of several prizes for its pintxos too, this is a very sure bet for your lunch, dinner or pintxos. The terrace is wonderful for a summer evening meal. I may be slightly biased - the chef, Natxo, is my big brother :-) But you will surely have a good meal here!

2 minutes away from the attic, this square offers great atmosphere and some of the best pintxos in Bilbao. Classic places are the elegant Victor Montes or the authentic Bar Bilbao. More modern options are the Zorginzulo. An absolute must!!!!

In the area that was once the red light district of Bilbao, you will find a few bars and restaurants worth exploring. The Perro Chico is a safe bet for an evening beer overlooking the river. Lunch and dinner are also served.

Parks & Nature
The province of Bizkaia has great beaches to relax, swim or surf. If you have a car you can go to beautiful spots like Laga where you will only find locals. Otherwise, just take the underground (2 mins from the attic) and head for Gorliz (tran stop Plentzia + 10 min walk) if you want a family beach or la Salvaje (train stop Larrabasterra + 15 min walk) if you want a "wild" beach and even the possibility of going nudist.
