Premiere restaurant set in a vineyard with gourmet food inside or outside. Lovely fireplaces in the bar and in the restaurant. Beautiful vineyard views while dining. Located just minutes from the cottage. They use local, quality ingredients and were one of the first restaurants to start the vibrant farm to table trend here in the area. The bar is cozy (but loud) and has a great Happy Hour with food and drinks at really low prices. As a result it fills up fast so head there early!

Beautiful regional park with cement walkways so you can use it even when its raining. They have a swimming lagoon and right next door Howarth Park has a children's playground, petting zoo, carousel and small train. Both parks have paddleboat and/or kayaks for rent. Spring Lake has picnic sites with barbecues as well.

They have a swimming lagoon and right next door Howarth Park has a children's playground, petting zoo, carousel and small train. Both parks have paddleboat and/or kayaks for rent. Spring Lake has picnic sites with barbecues as well.
This is an awe-inspiring area of beautiful old-growth Redwood groves and hiking trails with varying degrees of difficulty. Picnic areas can be accessed by car if you just want a cool retreat that is easily reached. The temperature in the Redwood grove is always at least 10 degrees cooler than anywhere else in the area.

This is a small but lovely museum located downtown. The outdoor area has local sculptural art and next door is a contemporary art museum. A great way to learn more about Sonoma County. In the Summer they feature excellent live music in the gardens.
