Da Vinci's is a small Italian deli selling great coffee to eat in or take away and excellent lunch time baguettes. The shop is small but everyone in Bear Flat seems to fit in for a coffee on a Saturday morning. Great community feel.

Bath skyline Walk takes in beautiful views across the whole of the city. It has a children's woodland play area and fail discovery trail. the whole walk is a 6 mile circular walk but it is possible to do as little or as much as you choose.

Moorland Road has a run of small independent shops including a fabulous bookstore run by Harry who knows about every book in the shop,a fish store, greengrocers , butchers and Francis DIY for absolutely anything DIY. There are 2 independent cafe/bars Velo Lounge open till late & Fire & Brew Pizza for home-brewed Beer and homemade pizzas.There are a couple of other curry houses and chain run take aways along here as well as a Co-op and Sainsburys express supermarket.
