At least ten different arts media are offered, from ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, masks and more, along with a performing arts component presented on a stage at the back of the parking lot. The program is offered free to the public from noon to 4 pm. Children of all ages attend; parents and grandparents with children from 2-12 years of age are the primary audience. Attendance measures 600-1,000 guests. FAD is held in conjunction with the opening of a contemporary art exhibition, providing the opportunity for guests to view the exhibition in addition to participating in the workshops.
