Essentials
Kiserian as everything from colourful local markets selling insanely fresh and tasty fruit and vegetables (remember to barter!), local butchers selling fresh beef and mbuzi (goat), there are wine shops, second hand clothing, electrical, and a couple of well stocked supermarkets selling everything from fresh yogurt to bread and even cheese!
You may be hard pressed to find bacon so best to bring with you from Nairobi! Although we have found fresh sausages at the supermarket!

Champagne Rally Park is only 8kms from The Castle! They have several events a year ranging from 4x4 off road challenge (which is great fun for spectators as well as competitors), the Masai 7s rugby competition and Buggy racing to name a few. A great day out for families!

You will be amazed at size of African wildlife thousands of years ago!
Guided tours are fascinating, there is a little market with women selling Masai jewellery and a cute picnic spot.
It is hot in the valley so take plenty of water, slap on a hat and slop on the sunscreen!

There is not much you cannot get in the Kiserian markets as it is THE market servicing the Masai community in this part of Kajiado. A few hours wandering through the markets is well worth it.
