Who can resist an AMAZING burger!?! Talk about options and unique and scrumptious choices! We've loved this restaurant for years. It's family owned and operated and it's not just about burgers! Everything on the menu is just simply awesome. And they have a nice selection of local and craft beers! Oh....and talk about a VIEW! It's right on the water so you can't help but feel the stress melt away as you enjoy your favorite food or beverage!

The Island Hotel is a historic masterpiece. If only the walls could talk......once a military hospital, once a general store, once a brothel.....it's reportedly haunted (by mainly friendly spirits) and you can just "feel" the history in the building.
We love both the upscale restaurant for fine dining as well as the bar. The bar is truly unique (and tiny!) be sure to get there before 5pm if you want one of the 8 seats available!
The very best thing to eat there is the low country grits. Think creamy polenta cake topped with sherry laden bacon and shrimp gravy. Holy Cholesterol!

Upscale fine dining that has recently been totally renovated after they were wiped out in 2016 by Hurricane Hermine. The food is spectacular as are the views! Make a reservation - and be sure to get a table by the window!

Located on the marina side of dock street, Big Deck has nice cold beer and usually has live acoustic music most weekends and evenings. They have really great wings and the quesadilla is amazing also!

An eclectic favorite local hang out, you'll always find neat and unique treasures sure to provoke conversation or memories while you can enjoy an exceptional beverage (Try the Atsena Otie Sling!) and peruse some amazing photos of local wildlife shot by Pat and Cindi Bonish - the owners. It's truly one of our favorite spots and you never know what the night will bring at Bonish!

This cemetery is filled with history and has an incredible boardwalk that takes you out and over the marsh. It's a wonderful place to walk, hike, bike and just enjoy the nature and beauty surrounding you!

Directly across the street from our unit - the park is a great place to go for a jog, enjoy the beach, use the swing sets or covered shelters for BBQs (there are charcoal grills at several areas), etc!
